In Nautical Sports (FINS) has its school and dive centre in the Puerto de Mazarron. Very close to the beaches of Mazarron,
Isla Plana & La Azohia, province of Murcia, on the Costa Calida (warm coast) of the sunny, Mediterranean south east corner
of Spain - 320 days of sunshine each year, but very little rain makes this area a magnet for families wanting to enjoy typically
spanish atmoshpere.
Our
dive operation is in the new marina which has recently been undergoing a complete multi million
euro redevelopment. The Bay of Mazarron is increasing in popularity as a tourist destination, unpolluted air and clean sea,
with a fantastic variety of marine fauna and flora make this a most attractive resort for scuba diving and snorkelling. However,
compared with the more lively 'Costas' the area is relatively undeveloped.
Friends In Nautical Sports opened
in 2009 as a PADI Dive Centre and has many regular European diving customers. Amongst the staff, languages
spoken are Spanish and English which ensures that phrase books and sign language (on the surface) are not needed. Our
well qualified team's priority is to provide you with a safe personal service, we have a 'family friendly' policy
and will always aim to incorporate the needs of everyone.
In October 2009 we became a BSAC affiliated Dive Scool
& Centre and we welcome our fellow divers in the BSAC organisation to the lovely waters in Mazarron. We have BSAC
Dive Instructors and can now offer by arrangement BSAC diving courses.
Completely NEW equipment was
purchased for 2009 including a purpose built dive boat, so all our customers requiring to hire our school equipment, can be
assured of renting new and well maintained gear,
